VOLUNTEERING

Parents
At Tayyibah, we actively welcome your participation in school life. We have a range of parents volunteering across the school in different ways, making a real impact on children’s learning. There are many ways you can get involved:

  • • Speak to your child’s teacher about how you might help. Common ways parents become involved include going on trips and helping out in class.
    • Tell us about any skills or interests you have which might help us, either in terms of children’s learning or as an organisation.

Others
If you are not a parent, but are interested in volunteering with us, please get in touch. Longer-term, regular volunteering has the biggest impact on learning, so if you can offer an hour or two per week, or could do a regular day, we may well be able to offer you a position. We are particularly interested in volunteer readers – reading one-to-one with children, those experienced with working in a library, or those who might be able to offer a particular skill such as an after-school sewing club or foreign language.

Safeguarding
Please note that we conduct DBS checks on all adults who work at Tayyibah for an extended period of time or on a regular basis.
