Both Year 7 classes visited the House of Commons and the House of Lords as part of their Parliament trip and tour.

In the House of Lords, pupils saw the chair where the Queen sits annually to deliver her Queen’s speech to Parliament.

After the tour, pupils took part in an interactive Laws and Debating session when they answers questions about what they learned before going through Parliamentary process which included debating an idea for a new law and that law finally being turned into an ‘Act’.

Pupils were thoroughly engaged and seemed to enjoy their trip maa shaa Allaah.
