Alhamdulillah, students and staff came together to participate in a meaningful and enriching Al-Aqsa Week, engaging in a series of educational and creative activities that deepened their understanding of Masjid Al-Aqsa. The event was carefully structured to incorporate multiple subjects, allowing students to explore this important topic from various perspectives.
The history department led engaging sessions on the historical significance of Masjid Al-Aqsa, helping students connect with its rich past and understand its importance in the Muslim world. In English, students expressed their thoughts and emotions through poetry, creating heartfelt pieces that reflected their understanding and appreciation of Al-Aqsa. The Islamic studies department organised a thought-provoking assembly, where students reflected on the spiritual significance of the site and its role in Islamic heritage. Meanwhile, the art department facilitated creative projects, encouraging students to design bookmarks and paint canvases that visually represented their connection to Al-Aqsa.
This cross-curricular approach provided students with a holistic learning experience, fostering deeper engagement and a strong sense of unity.
