Anti-Bullying Week and Odd Socks Day

Last month, students participated in Odd Socks Day. This is a day when students are free to come in wearing odd socks which represents the fact that everyone is unique.

Some students and their families donated money on the day and the money raised will be going to the charity Mind which helps people who face challenges with their mental health.

At Tayyibah Girls’ School, Odd Socks Day comes at the end of Anti-Bullying Week. This year’s theme is ‘Choose Respect’. Some pupils from secondary wrote poems to reflect this theme.
