This week, we are working on the beautiful practice of making Dua (supplication).
The students have already had an assembly where they learned about the importance and etiquettes of making Dua.
Our goal is to help them realise that, no matter the challenges they face in life, the ultimate source of comfort, guidance and help is Allah. By turning to Him sincerely, we’re reminded that He is always listening and has the power to resolve all our worries and hardships.
We discussed that everyone has tests in life, but the solution lies in seeking Allah’s help.
To guide them, we’ve set three levels for practicing Dua, encouraging growth in their daily supplications:
Personal Dua Before Sleep – Encourage your child to make personal dua before they sleep each night, sharing with Allah their thoughts, worries, and hopes. This simple, personal habit helps them feel connected and at peace.
Dua After Every Salah – After each Salah, we are asking the children to make dua for themselves and their needs. This daily practice reinforces the habit of consistently turning to Allah.
Expanding Their Dua – At this level, we’re encouraging students to broaden their supplications to include their loved ones, the deceased and the entire Ummah.
This helps them develop compassion and an understanding of the importance of praying for others.
Please encourage these practices at home and remind your child to speak to Allah openly and frequently.
May Allah strengthen our connection with Him and make Dua a lasting comfort in our lives.
Jazakumuallah Khair for your support and encouragement. Request for duas
