Sunnah of the Week (4) – Salawaat

We are excited to share this week’s Sunnah of the Week with you.

This week, we will focus on the beautiful practice of sending Salawaat (peace and blessings) upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

This simple yet powerful act is a means of bringing immense barakah (blessings) into our lives and strengthening our connection to the Prophet (peace be upon him).

To make this effort engaging and meaningful, we have set three levels of participation:

Level 1: Send 10 Salawaat in the morning and 10 in the evening as part of your daily routine.

Level 2: Incorporate sending Salawaat whenever making personal du’as, as it is a means to make our prayers more beloved and accepted by Allah (SWT).

Level 3: Send a minimum of 100 Salawaat on Fridays, the most blessed day of the week, which the Prophet (peace be upon him) himself encouraged us to observe.

Encouraging children to take part in this practice helps nurture their love and reverence for the Prophet (peace be upon him) while bringing immense rewards from Allah (SWT).

We kindly request parents to support their children by reminding and motivating them to reach their desired level, Insha Allah.
